With a gentle but firm hand I like to guide you on an inner journey, where we recognize that the behaviors and beliefs we have, are often learned at a young age. And where you may begin to discover that the idea "that's just the way it is" can actually put us at a deep block.

I offer mainly regular therapy programs. In these programs I combine different forms of therapy, depending on your needs. During each session I tune in to your specific question or challenge at that moment, so that we can work specifically on what is most relevant at that moment.
The forms of therapy I often use in these pathways include Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, Guided Meditation/Hypnotherapy, Family Constellations, Boxing Therapy and Inner Child Work. These methods help to recognize, break patterns on both conscious and unconscious levels and heal any traumas. In which both the head, heart and body are included.
I also offer fixed programs. The advantage is that you know exactly what you are going for and what to expect per session. Both 1:1 therapies and fixed programs have their advantages. It is just a matter of....what suits you better?

Family constellations and systemic work are powerful methodologies that provide insight into the unconscious dynamics within families and other systems. We look at the influence your family, relationships and other environments have on your life. This approach helps you break patterns that you may have unconsciously adopted. Together we discover how to move more freely within your relationships and systems.

Mindfulness is a powerful tool to bring more peace and clarity into your life. By being consciously present in the moment, you learn to deal with stress, emotions and thoughts in a different way. It helps you step out of automatic reactions and make conscious choices. Mindfulness promotes both mental and emotional balance and is an important part of my pathways, whether you are working on stress reduction, personal growth or strengthening your inner resilience.

Access Bars is an energetic treatment method aimed at releasing limiting thoughts, beliefs and emotions. During an Access Bars session, 32 pressure points on the head are gently touched. These points, or "Bars," correspond to different aspects of your life, such as health, creativity, relationships and money. By activating these points, old patterns and blockages can be released, leading to more space and possibilities in your life.

Boxing therapy is a unique form of therapy that uses boxing exercises to get more in touch with your body and break through deeper emotional patterns. It is not about a boxing class, but about conscious bodywork that helps to process stress, trauma or suppressed emotions. You do not need to have experience with boxing; it is used as a tool to understand yourself better and become emotionally stronger. This therapy can be combined with other methods such as breathwork or family constellations, depending on what you need.

Through meditation we can work more deeply with the subconscious, which can be thought of as a form of hypnotherapy. This helps to break through blockages or limiting beliefs that are often at an unconscious level. This method offers the opportunity to work deeply on personal transformation and healing.

Solution-focused therapy focuses not so much on the problem, but rather on finding solutions. Together we look at your strengths, abilities and what is already working in your life. This method is practical, positive and helps you to progress step by step. It gives you the tools to look at situations in a new way and to actively deal with them.

In inner child work, we focus on the unconscious experiences and emotions from your childhood that can still affect you. Often old pain points from the past are the cause of behavioral patterns and feelings in the present. Working with your inner child allows you to heal at a deeper, emotional layer, which helps you stand more firmly in your adult self.

Online mindulness course. The lessons consist of 1. an informative video, 2. a guided assignment, 3. an individual assignment and 4. homework. For some lessons you can also download supporting documents or audios. All this is intended to help you integrate mindfulness into your daily routines and develop awareness.

Deep-seated beliefs about ourselves and our place in the world.

Trauma is like a silent whisper that echoes through our lives, shaping our beliefs, behaviors and relationships in ways we don't always recognize. Often it arises in moments or situations we can no longer pinpoint, residing in the shadows of memory, yet exerting a profound influence on our present selves.
Imagine a child navigating the complexities of his world, faced with experiences that overwhelm his ability to cope. These experiences, whether neglect, abuse or loss, can be profound and form the lens through which that child views himself and the world around him.
As children, we are like sponges, soaking up everything around us, internalizing the messages we receive from caregivers, peers and society in general. When these messages are one of neglect, disempowerment or harm, they can plant the seeds of what psychologists call "limited beliefs" - deeply held beliefs about ourselves and our place in the world.
These limited beliefs often manifest as self-destructive behaviors in adulthood. We may find ourselves constantly seeking validation from others, afraid to express our own needs and boundaries. We may struggle with feelings of worthlessness or inadequacy, convinced that we are inherently flawed or unlovable. These beliefs can poison our relationships, fueling patterns of self-sabotage and emotional turmoil.
Yet amid the darkness of trauma and its aftermath, there is a glimmer of hope. Understanding the roots of our limited beliefs, can be the first step toward healing. Realizing that we are not alone in our struggles, that many others bear similar wounds, can offer comfort and solidarity. Through therapy, self-reflection and support from others, we can begin to challenge these beliefs, replacing them with healthier, more powerful stories.
It is a journey full of ups and downs, twists and turns, but it is a journey worth taking. By acknowledging the impact of trauma on our lives, by directly addressing our limited beliefs, we can reclaim our sense of self and rewrite the stories we tell ourselves. And by doing so, we can cultivate a future defined not by the scars of the past, but by the resilience of our spirits.
Stel je een kind voor dat de complexiteit van zijn wereld navigeert, geconfronteerd met ervaringen die zijn vermogen om ermee om te gaan overspoelen. Deze ervaringen, of het nu verwaarlozing, misbruik of verlies is, kunnen diep ingrijpen en de lens vormen waardoor dat kind zichzelf en de wereld om zich heen bekijkt.
Als kinderen zijn we als sponzen, alles om ons heen opzuigend, de boodschappen internaliserend die we ontvangen van verzorgers, leeftijdsgenoten en de samenleving in het algemeen. Wanneer deze boodschappen er een zijn van verwaarlozing, ontkrachting of schade, kunnen ze de zaden planten van wat psychologen "beperkte overtuigingen" noemen - diepgewortelde overtuigingen over onszelf en onze plek in de wereld.
Deze beperkte overtuigingen uiten zich vaak als zelfdestructief gedrag in de volwassenheid. We kunnen onszelf voortdurend op zoek vinden naar validatie van anderen, bang om onze eigen behoeften en grenzen te uiten. We kunnen worstelen met gevoelens van waardeloosheid of ontoereikendheid, ervan overtuigd dat we inherent gebrekkig of onbeminnelijk zijn. Deze overtuigingen kunnen onze relaties vergiftigen, patronen van zelfsabotage en emotionele onrust voeden.
Toch is er te midden van de duisternis van trauma en de nasleep ervan een sprankje hoop. Het begrijpen van de wortels van onze beperkte overtuigingen, kan de eerste stap zijn op weg naar genezing. Het realiseren dat we niet alleen zijn in onze worstelingen, dat veel anderen vergelijkbare wonden dragen, kan troost en solidariteit bieden. Door therapie, zelfreflectie en ondersteuning van anderen kunnen we beginnen deze overtuigingen uit te dagen, ze vervangend door gezondere, krachtiger verhalen.
Het is een reis vol ups en downs, wendingen en bochten, maar het is een reis die de moeite waard is. Door de impact van trauma op ons leven te erkennen, door onze beperkte overtuigingen rechtstreeks aan te pakken, kunnen we ons gevoel van eigenwaarde terugwinnen en de verhalen die we onszelf vertellen herschrijven. En door dat te doen, kunnen we een toekomst cultiveren die niet wordt gedefinieerd door de littekens uit het verleden, maar door de veerkracht van onze geesten.
